• Plan 2 TLC camping trips
• Shop for said trips (spending as close to $600 for each
trip)
• Get a new Epi-Pen (mine has expired)
• Make appointment for vaccinations
• Raise more money (thank you to everyone who has generously
already donated)
• Figure out how to pack for a 5 week trip in one suitcase
• Get into shape (personal goal, not really related to South
Africa, but still on my mind)
• Finish school strong
• Complete all IEPs before June 1
• Write senior recommendations
• Host a yard sale (with proceeds going towards my trip
expenses)
• Attend Pampered Chef Fundraiser that my mom and Jen
Fellows are hosting
• Hike… (I can’t give this up, no matter how busy I get)
• Attend a Red Sox game (spring doesn’t feel like spring
until you have been to Fenway)
• Participate in the Dynamic Dirt Challenge (Brook Tough is the defending third
place champions… Dianna & Jenn, we’ll rock this event).
• Summer League Draft
• Countless birthdays to plan for & celebrate
• Pay bills ahead so I don’t have to stress while I am gone
• Creating lesson plans for the next 6 weeks that keep kids
engaged as the weather gets nicer.
At times I get overwhelmed by what is left to do before I
leave… and then I begin to think about the amazing experience I am about to
have and get so excited. My list
seems more manageable when I keep in mind that I have been given an opportunity
that many people will never have.
I am so grateful… and am truly looking forward for his adventure.
